Installation method of ball screw steel ball

First of all, it is not recommended that users remove and install nuts by themselves, especially high-lead ball screws. Before installing the nut of the ball screw, you must have a sleeve (also called a dummy shaft) with the same diameter as the ball groove of the screw. After the nut is cleaned with liquid oil, apply grease to the ball groove to stick the balls one by one. Put it in the ball groove, put the sleeve into the nut after putting it, use the screw to hold the sleeve and rotate it to screw it in. The function of the sleeve is that the ball will not be squeezed out when the ball screw is screwed in. .
It is necessary to use the corresponding type of dummy shaft to install, and there must be a corresponding type of steel ball. For example, 16 diameter screw rods need to use 16 dummy shafts to install 3.175 steel balls, and 32 diameter screw rods use 32 dummy shafts to install 6.350 steel balls. etc.
Detailed steps of ball screw nut mounting method:
1. Clean the ball screw nut and balls.
2. Put the plastic ball stopper (ball reverser) back into the nut.
3. Apply grease to the groove of the nut.
4. Put the ball into the spiral groove. Note that not all spiral grooves are filled, and the balls are placed in accordance with the principle that a reverser is a cycle.
5. Screw the nut into the screw (be careful not to drop the ball).
6. Turn the nut forward and backward to check whether the nut runs smoothly. If it is smooth, it means OK.
Other methods of ball screw nut mounting:
In the case of the nut accidentally falling off or you have now disassembled it, please reinstall the nut according to the following method: a machined one whose outer diameter is slightly smaller than the bottom diameter of the screw raceway (about 0.1mm smaller), and the inner diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the end of the screw (Large 0.5~2mm), the length is longer than the length of the nut (length 10~50mm) hollow sleeve.
Block one end of the hollow sleeve with a soft object such as a foam wrapper, and insert it into a clean, non-ball nut, and then put the cleaned balls into each circulating groove one by one, and fill a circle (the gap is 0.5 ~1.5 ball diameter size is appropriate) and then gently rotate the hollow sleeve, confirm that it is smooth, and then push the hollow sleeve for another round until it is fully filled.
Then remove the plugging filler, put the hollow sleeve and the nut into the end of the screw shaft together, hold the hollow sleeve with one hand, and slowly screw the nut on the screw with the other hand until the nut is smoothly screwed into the effective thread groove of the screw Slot part. Finally, inject grease or lubricating oil into the oil hole of the nut, and rotate the nut to move more than 2 times in the full stroke to ensure smooth operation. Finally, inject lubricating grease again, and the work is completed.
