(2) Lubrication and sealing of machine tool ball screws. The machine tool ball screw pair can use lubricants to improve wear resistance and transmission efficiency. Lubricants can be divided into two categories: lubricating oils and greases. The machine oil is ordinary oil or turbine oil No. 90-180 or No. 140 spindle oil. Machine tool grease can use lithium-based grease. Grease is usually added to the threaded raceways and the housing space where the nut is mounted, while lubricant is injected into the nut space through oil holes in the housing.
